Alternate Thinking
Our alternative thinking has resulted in our practicing of alternative therapies. There are many therapies, but it is your quest to find out what ones will be best for you. Choose one or you may need a combination of therapies that will help you achieve what you are striving for.
Health Through Healing Hands has just a few suggestions that may help you. Remember – you must know what you want to accomplish. The best thing is to write your goals down on a card or a piece of paper. Always write down a time frame beside the goal. Be realistic – because you will be only disappointing yourself. Keep this paper in clear view so that it is a thought that is repeated over and over as you read it – you could stick it on the refrigerator, the bathroom mirror or even at your work desk. This thought then becomes a belief. Visualize, visualize and keep visualizing the goals you are setting for yourself.
What do you want to achieve in the next 3 months? What do you want to achieve in the next 12 months? And lastly, what do you think you life will be like in 5 years after you have achieved the goals you set?
Every day in some way, keep you dreams alive. The visual written goals will help. As you know, we are very great believers in the power of the mind. The mind must rule the body and not the other way round. We have all heard about placebos being giving to patients, and these patients have improved. How is this so? This is a case where the mind believed that the placebo was a medicine or drug that would cure the ailment or illness.
We have such “inner power” that we can achieve may things through believing them possible. Remember – think big. It costs you no more to think big than to think small!!!
